MADISON’S STORY

This is a photo session that is very close to my  heart.  The emotions and tears were overflowing while we were documenting this important story.  This is the story of my niece, Madison.  She has fought a very hard battle in what should have been a very innocent and carefree time of her life.  She should have never needed to worry about cancer at the age of 14, but that became an everyday word for her overnight.

Today Madison got the news that she is cancer free and she is ready to tell the world.  It is a miraculous day and we are all celebrating.  We took these photos back in April of last year.  That was when she got the first word that she was in remission.  We were all so happy, but right after that she had a few scares.  Every time she gets sick her immune system has to fight incredibly hard even for a simple cold.  Every spot that shows up has to immediately be checked.  With the good news today Madison is ready to share this important day.  I was so honored to be a part of her journey.
